After an unprecedented Union Budget by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, it is now time for the state budget of the Desert state. Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today said the Rajasthan budget would be balanced and progressive and would fulfill aspirations of all sections of the society.
A suggestion portal was introduced weeks before the budget day, the portal women, entrepreneurs, professionals could share their constructive suggestions for how they would want Rajasthan budget to be. CM Vasundhara Raje stressed on the fact that suggestions were given by the youth, students, women entrepreneurs, professionals among others will be considered while preparing the Rajasthan budget. Good suggestions would be incorporated into the Rajasthan budget, Raje added.
Not only this, CM Raje also addressed a pre-budget consultation meeting where she took suggestions from all those in attendance. The meeting was attended by women, youths, students, sportspersons, etc.
CM Raje also noted that a lot of work has been done in the areas of skill development, women empowerment and the start-up realms of Rajasthan.
Moreover, owing to a massive allocation of funds, the works for Delhi-Ahmedabad and Jaipur-Sawai Madhopur routes are on the right track. The authorities at the NWR are optimistic about the final completion of electrification work by the end of this year.
Rajasthan Budget 2017 encompassed a host of factors which justified the needs of various sections of the society. From escalating women security measures to establishment of Abhay Command Centre, Rajasthan government has ensured an impressive security force across the state. As a result, the crime rate also fell down by a considerable margin. CM Raje also laid focus on Smart City Project. Alongisde, expansion of ambitious schemes like Jal Swavlamban Yojana, Rajshri Yojana, Nyay Apke Dwaar remained the highlight of the budget.
The Rajasthan budget session 2018 of the state Legislative Assembly is beginning on Monday.
