Soon after the flag of victory were waved in UP, there was an unknown flair of replacing CM Vasundhara Raje. The speculation market got hypes when there were talks of moving CM Raje to center. All this has been put to rest by the senior leaders of BJP assuring that there are no plans of replacing CM Raje and moving her into center in the cabinet reshuffle.
Rumours are the most ungodly around because when they spread, they overlook all the work done. That’s what happened here, when there were even talks of bringing Om Prakash Mathur in the Rajasthan and take over the charge of Chief Minister candidature. This was speculated because Rajasthan is the home state of Om Mathur. Despite of the constant denial of any such fact by Om Mathur himself and by state BJP president Ashok Parnami, rumours did not put any rein on their movements.
During the meetings of last week, BJP national vice-president Avinash Rai Khanna clarified that 2018 State Assembly Elections will be fought under CM Vasundhara Raje.
Back on Saturday, the core committee meeting at the BJP headquarters in Rajasthan came to the conclusion that any possible changes among the leaders of the state was a mere fabrication of media and nothing else. In fact, hoardings with pictures of Mrs., Mr. Mathur and PM Narendra Modi were put across the city for congratulating the party over the victory in UP elections.
Reacting soberly, Mr. Mathur had said that, he is just an “ordinary party worker” and will keep on performing the duties assigned to him.
The political observers came to the conclusion that such rumours may keep on arising intermittently because of sour terms between CM Raje and center team.
Observations also say that, the center team received the messages from RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) mentioning that there is no requirement of bringing any changes to Chief Ministers in States because party has a stronghold there.
