Women put in double efforts for success: CM Raje said at Bhaskar Women of the Year Award 2017 event

The recently held Bhaswar Women of the Year Award 2017 ceremony has inspired many young women and girls to strive harder towards their dreams. The grand event which was held in the desert state on Tuesday felicitated a galaxy of enthusiastic and talented women who have surpassed all setbacks to achieve what others just dreamt of achieving.

CM Raje honored women who have beaten the race and emerged as inspirational personalities not only for the state but our entire country.

Rajasthan’s first Neurosurgeon, Dr. Renu Khemhar was felicitated with the ‘Editor Choice Award’ by CM Raje.

Here is the brief list of awardees who were felicitated with state level awards at the Bhaswar Women of the Year Award event.

Gayatri Rathore, Jodhpur entrepreneur,

Mamta Devi Parmar, engaged in social service in Adivasi areas,

Parangat Aanchal Kumawat, a peerless magician, and

Shatabdi Awasthi, Para Athlete

These women were awarded the state level awards in multiple fields and realms of excellence.

At this juncture, 11 other women were honored with the Zonal level awards for their endeavors in varying fields.

Women today are leading the league in every realm and sphere, which earlier used to be essentially dominated by men, CM Raje said while highlighting the undeterred dedication of courage of the women in the audience.

Women have positioned themselves after combating and embracing a slew of difficulties and hardships in their fields, be it social service, business, art, medicine and sports. This itself is indicative of exemplary dedication and undying passion.

Women of our state have received recognition at national and international levels, CM Raje said with a huge sense of pride. Parents, relatives, friends and society also have a considerable role in their success, she added. To ensure that women of Rajasthan continue to tread on their desired journey, the state has taken several steps.

The Chief Minister released the book ‘Ujjain the Eternal City’, an enlightening book published by Dainik Bhaskar. Additionally, a special gift for students, who are coaching in Kota was also presented by Dr. Vidhu Sharma. Dr. Sharma presented a manuscript of ‘My Book, My Friend’ to CM Raje.
