    Rajasthan the state which is famous for its historical palaces, forts and deserts has been experiencing new changes. It is a state which has hot climatic conditions but this year the scenario is quite different. Mount Abu in Rajasthan is a hilly part of the state. This year, Winters of Rajasthan have brought the Nakki Lake in Mount Abu to a freeze. This changed in weather has disturbed the life in Mount Abu.

    Well.. this is the impact of snowfall of Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh began to appear in Rajasthan. The whole region of Mount Abu is turning white. The cars have layer of snow in Abu due to chilling winter. In fact, the water of buckets kept outside home is also freezed. This is not the first time that Nakki Lake is frozen.  The Meteorological Department announced that the temperature may drop further in the coming days which will add to winter. Winters of Rajasthan

    This year the cold in Rajasthan has increased and people have experienced cold waves December due to snowfall in Himachal and Jammu and Kashmir. Usually, the maximum temperature of the day was 18 degrees while the minimum temperature reached to 1 degree. It is also noticed that various cities of Rajasthan like Jaisalmer, Sriganganagar, Ajmer and Jaipur has decrease in temperature. It is not only snowfall but also the rain in the state that resulted into cold outbreak.

    Problems faced by people due to cold Winters of Rajasthan

    In winters, the people won’t stop working but they face several challenges. Due to dense fog, flights have been diverted and trains are being delayed. The kids are facing difficulties in going to schools.

    Mount Abu is a popular destination in Rajasthan which welcomes lacs of tourists every year.  The Gurshikhar peak and wildlife sanctuary are attractions of the place. Mount Abu is a beautiful place with rivers, lakes, waterfalls and evergreen forests.
