To win the state of Rajasthan in upcoming Assembly elections in 2018, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje is ready to start her Suraaj Gaurav Yatra. This is a prestigious yatra towards success. In fact, this is not the first time that she has marched this yatra. She had already been done this yatra twice (2003 and 2013) in the past which started from the Charbhuja temple. Both the times, the results were in her favour and she had risen to power as CM of Rajasthan. It is the third time that she is going to embark the same yatra. The yatra will start on 4th August from the same Charbhuja temple of Udaipur divison and will conclude on 30th September. It will end at Ajmer. The road map of her yatra has been decided. This ambitious 40-day yatra will move through 7 divisions covering 200 Vidhan Sabha constituencies. The yatra will be flagged of BJP national president Amit Shah. The aim of this yatra is to reach out to the common public and to showcase the developmental works carried out by ruling BJP government. Assembly elections in 2018

Considering the developmental works, the department is preparing the list of works done by CM Raje in her present tenure. As per the sources, PM Narendra Modi will present on conclusion of the yatra. It will be a big political rally.
A Rath or Chariot is specifically designed for the yatra. The yatra will be held on that rath. In fact, it will not be in a single go. It will take place in phases. BJP unit of Rajasthan is busy in preparations for the yatra. Assembly elections in 2018
Allong with Suraaj Gaurav Yatra, there will be sub-yatra in 25 Lok Sabha region of the state. On the welcome point, there must be more than 2000 people. Bike riders will also be part of the journey.
