Themed as ‘Jaane Kya Dikh Jaye’, the campaign is a meaningful amalgamation of six different campaigns meant to give boost to Tourism in Rajasthan. Tourism in Rajasthan accounts for 15% of Rajasthan’s economy as it facilitates maximisation of foreign exchange earnings, regional development and infrastructure development.

Incentivisation for tourist-centric projects Rajasthan also revamped its tourism unit policy 2015 which will be continued for seven years. The Entertainment tax was exempted 50% for seven years, while the luxury tax was exempted 100%. Not only this, the Rajasthan government also decided to reimburse 25% VAT amount paid on the purchase of plant and machinery up to 7 years from the date of Certificate issuance to give a boost to Tourism in Rajasthan.

These incentives are being provided to those setting up tourism-related projects in Rajasthan. Rajasthan also forms part of India’s Golden Triangle, the tourist circuit which constitutes National Capital Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur.
