These days, Dholpur is flowing in politics and elections. April 9th is the day, when CM Raje’s homeland will decide a major factor of Rajasthan politics. The political momentum in the state is taking a positive shift from long. On the other hand, people may take it as a chance to break the political uncertainty in the state.
The state presidents of both the parties are into camping for more than 12 days and not leaving any stone unturned in this regard.
While CM Raje is in a comfortable position irrespective of any poll results in Dholpur. In this election, they are fighting more for their prestige.
Here we are witnessing an interesting fray by Sachin Pilot and BJP. While BJP is just fighting to keep its name in the region, for Sachin Pilot it’s a bid for his CM candidature in the next elections.
But, the unequal environment of disunity in Congress may bring all odds on his way. While the center still relies on Gehlot, C.P. Joshi, who is a veteran Congress leader may choose Sachin Pilot over him.
Unintentionally, Dholpur is becoming pivotal for BJP and Congress, especially from popularity point of view.
Also, Pilot said regarding these bypolls that, “For BJP, Dholpur bypoll is all about money and caste-based politics. It can be seen in the way they gave ticket to a convict’s wife, who also has cases against her. The government machinery is being misused”.
Person is what he says about others. Here, Sachin Pilot is unknowingly projecting the long time adopted policy of Congress for collecting votes from various communities.
While Sachin is daydreaming about the win of Congress in the region, BJP President Ashok Parnami has his heart full of hopes from UP election win.
He said, “The party organisation is taking the bypolls seriously and will certainly win the Dholpur seat. We have made teams of active workers till booth level, who will move from door-to-door and tell people about the achievements of the state and the central governments”.
