    As we know that state of Rajasthan prays and worships the cows hence it keeps on bringing new laws and development regarding to the cows and bovines. Cow holds a great importance in Rajasthan. We know that state is the first in the country to have cow ministry. It also made stringent rules and regulations for cow and bovine safety and preservation. Rajasthan Cow Sanctuary

    It also sells cows’ urine in order to generate revenue. In fact, the ruling BJP government introduced a 20% surcharge on liquor so that generated proceeds can be used for protection of cows in the state.     This cow sanctuary is situated in Napasar(Bikaner) and spread over an area of 220 hectares. It is started with an objective to dedicate the entire area for cows, much on the lines of a wildlife sanctuary houses almost thousands of bovines. In this, there will be going to open a facility. The facility will have hospital and Sewan grass as fodder for the animals.

    To start this sanctuary, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) is signed between the state government and a private trust. This sanctuary will be managed by a private trust. The information about this is given by Gopalan minister Otaram Dewasi.

    What are the other plans of the government?

    Members of the trust said that there also plans to develop the area into a tourist place. The best thing about the sanctuary it will shelter the animals which are abandoned and have stopped producing milk.
