The state government has digitised almost everything from PDS to cleanliness, construction and education. Now, it’s all set to revolutionize Rajasthan tourism. ‘TripMyWay’ mobile application introduced by Rajasthan tourism department will help travellers find their way around the state.

    According to Additional Director of Rajasthan Tourism, Mr. Sanjay Pandey, the government invited vendors to disseminate information about top tourist places in Rajasthan, through this cutting-edge mobile app.

    ‘TripMyWay’ provides an innovative way for travellers to access the historic/cultural heritage of Rajasthan. It features a GPS-enabled, interactive map of Rajasthan where you can easily find places that are worth exploring. Tap on public landmarks, bookmark your favourite sports and download audio tours, they’re absolutely fantastic!

    The content is available in offline mode and multimedia format. You can plan your itinerary as you move from one place to another.

    Trip My Way is developed by two IITian—Nupur aggarwal and Rachna Pandey who’ve always dreamt of changing the way people perceive heritage in India. After putting in several years of intense hard work, ‘Trip My Way ‘has finally qualified as Rajasthan Tourism Official App. It is powered by IthakaTales, a group of engineers from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, IIT and NYU Stern.

    The duo has explored multiple sites in Rajasthan, such as Pushkar, Amer Fort and Jantar Mantar. After lots of research and exploration, they’ve included 150 tourist spots and 12 cities in their app. They’ve received positive response from vacationers so far.

    The tourism department officials believe ‘Trip My Way’ will provide travellers with total freedom and flexibility while planning their holidays. Next time when you set out on your quest to explore Rajasthan, make sure you download this app for off-beaten travel experiences.
