The barbaric act of killing Afrazul is buzzing across the state. While the shocking part is that Love jihad has started to take a toll on lives, some reporters are merely sitting and cribbing about political leaders. That’s how unfruitful and unproductive they could get! When times get tough, there is always a splash of unnecessary allegations and a practice of chiding political leaders with utterly baseless reasons. This is what Tavleen Singh did to Narendra Modi and CM Vasundhara Raje.

    love jihad

Neglecting the intensity of the issue, this columnist paves way for more hatred, while aggravating the matter for unreasonable reasons. She criticised Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje for celebrating the Armed Forces Day on Twitter. Unaware of the facts, these columnists muster the courage to rebuke revered politicians’ legit actions. As a matter of fact, a statement released on Saturday quoted CM Vasundhara Raje saying: “Culprit promptly nabbed by Police. Have directed them to prosecute the criminal in the shortest possible time. Deplorable Act which needs to be condemned in strongest possible terms.”

The duty of the ministers is not to talk about the issue but to ensure speedy action against the same. CM Raje called the act ‘deplorable’ and promised a stringent action towards the culprit Shambhulal Regar. As promised, Regar was arrested and has been subjected to rigorous police questioning.

If politicians start to explain the nuances of every activity happening in the state in detail, only Tavleen Singh should tell us who will run the state. It is utter shame to have columnists like Tavleen Singh who write without logic and base. Leave Chief ministers, this lady also wants the Prime Minister to digress from other important topics and get attention to the ‘Love Jihad’ case.

India is a democratic country. It is the beautiful ground on which individuality is appreciated as much as ethical cultures are upheld. God forbid if tomorrow a child stabs an old man mistakenly, Tavleen would demand the PM who would be dealing with higher authorities to avoid terrorism to direct verbal attention to this child and entertain the audience. If this is how she thinks our country should progress, then there is a sincere pity for her.
