Ahead of the National Convention of Congress that is going to take place on 17th March in New Delhi, the Rahul-Gandhi led party has released a list of 72 members that will be added to the Rajasthan team. Notably, apart from retaining almost all senior members, many new faces have been given a chance by Congress. Besides, the office bearers in the SC/ST community have also got a place in the list.
Apart from the list of 72 candidates released by All India Congress Committee (AICC), 30 nominated members have also been included in the team. It includes prominent leaders like Congress State President Sachin Pilot, former CM Ashok Gehlot, Dr. CP Joshi, and others. A new addition to the list includes Ashok Gehlot’s son Vaibhav Gehlot.
A third list has also been released with respect to the coalition. This list has been released in 39 districts of the state including 400 officials.

Another major change in the list of candidates has been made by adding many young and senior leaders as PCC members as a reward to their work that they did in the bypolls. The party has also increased the quota from 15% to 30%.
