Did NaMo App Downloads really increase after the RaGa Remark?

When life brings disgrace, one converts it into grace by noble actions and intelligent speech. Opposition Prime Ministerial candidate sure needs more knowledge about the conversion of the bad image into a good image.

RaGa recently tried to catch unworthy limelight by sharing that NaMo app is stealing personal data of the countrymen. His tweet on NaMo app invoked many truths about the Congress app. The quantum of privacy breaching allegations on Congress app led the opposition party to delete its own app (With INC).

Although, mockery from anybody and everybody aimed at RaGa is worth attention, but the most entertaining mockery at Rahul Gandhi is sure done by Smriti Irani. This time, Smriti took to Twitter to write: Now that we’re talking tech, would you care to answer @RahulGandhi Ji why Congress sends data to Singapore Servers which can be accessed by any Tom, Dick, and Analytica?

This is what RaGa (also known as Chotta Bheem Lover) had tweeted. “Modi misusing PM position to build personal database with data on millions of Indians via the NaMo App promoted by Govt. If as PM he wants to use tech to communicate with India, no problem. But use the official PMO APP for it. This data belongs to India, not Modi.”

Below are other tweets which followed after a tweet on NaMo app which he had probably not meditated. RaGa’s bots made the #DeleteNaMoApp go viral on social media. However, it only leads to more downloads and popularity for the NaMo app.

A US-based analytics firm also rose up to the occasion and cleared the air. It’s co-founder confirmed that NaMo app doesn’t ‘sell, rent’ data. What remains to be seen now is how RaGa will react to this failure.
