Lok Sabha polls: PM Narendra Modi to address rallies in Rajasthan on April 21, 22

    Bharatiya Janata Party’s number one star campaigner Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Rajasthan on April 21 and 22, addressing rallies in support of BJP Lok Sabha candidates in Chittorgarh, Barmer, Udaipur, and Jodhpur, party leaders said Tuesday.

    According to Omkar Singh Lakhawat, BJP’s tour convener for the polls, Modi will address meetings in Chittorgarh and then in Barmer on April 21.

    On April 22, the prime minister will address rallies in Udaipur and Jodhpur the following day on April 22.

    The saffron party primarily relies on PM Narendra Modi for campaign programs as Modi has a fair approach to the people of India. PM Modi quickly connects with the rationality of people from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, from Bengal to Rajasthan.

    Other star campaigners of BJP in Rajasthan

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party chief Amit Shah, Bollywood actress Hema Malini, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Arun Jaitley, and Sushma Swaraj are among the star campaigners of the party.

    Other campaigners in the list include Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Smriti Irani, Prakash Javadekar, former CM of Rajasthan and party vice president Vasundhara Raje, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Arjun Ram Meghwal, C R Choudhary, P P Choudhary, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, UP Chief Minister Yogi Aditatyanath, former Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and Rajya Sabha MP Kirodi Lal Meena besides several former Ministers.

    Lok Sabha polls in Rajasthan are slated to be held in two phases. Thirteen seats will go to polls on April 29 in the first phase, voting for the remaining 12 seats will be on May 6.
