Kishangarh Airport: A gamut of business opportunities and passenger convenience

Today is the day when all pilgrims visiting Sufi Shrines will be the happiest. It is because Kishangarh is getting its new airport today. The airport will boost air connectivity which shall ensure a hassle-free drive to Sufi shrine at Ajmer, Pushkar Lake and Brahma Temple in Pushkar.

These shrines are half an hour drive from Kishangarh. Hence, pilgrims traveling to Ajmer and Pushkar may hop onto the flight and reach their desired destination within half an hour.

The Kishangarh airport which has a total of six check-in counters will be able to house 150 passengers at a time. It will be connected through a four-lane road to National Highway 8.

Major fillip to marble industry

RK Marbles, which is the world’s largest marble manufacturer will enjoy more convenience in completing projects. The airport will boost the business sector of Kishangarh and make way for seamless delivery of inputs and capital goods.

Stronger Air Connectivity

The Rajasthan government has persistently dedicated resources and time towards building and boosting sound aviation infrastructure. In the government’s drive to build a strong aviation network, Jaisalmer and Kota now have stronger air connectivity.

Subsidised travelling

With the main aim to subsidise intrastate travel, Rajasthan government is working hand-in-hand with Supreme Airlines to ensure subsidised travel for one and all.

Proposed by CM Raje in 2007, the airport will be inaugurated by CM Raje today. Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia, and Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha will inaugurate the Kishangarh airport today.
