Gehlot’s cabinet minister captured yelling at lady police canstable in polling booth

    In a political hangover, a minister in Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s cabinet, Bhanwarlal Meghwal, was seen shouting at a woman police constable at a polling booth in Rajasthan’s Churu district.

    Bhanwarlal Meghwal, who is the Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment in Rajasthan, barged into the polling booth in Ward Number 20 in Churu district’s Sujangarh and shouted at the police constable for not letting media inside the booth to take his photograph.

    Drunk in power Meghwal lost his cool when the policewoman did not let media persons inside the booth to take his photograph. Minister was seen yelling at lady- “how dare you stop a minister?” and “doesn’t she know I am a Rajasthan minister?”

    Policewoman was following the guidelines

    The lady police constable Manisha Khichar, was following the Election Commission of India’s poll guidelines, according to which no media person would be allowed inside a polling booth when the voting process in on.

    The election conducting officers including booth officers and the security personnel strictly have to follow the guidelines given by the commission to avoid the violation on the model code of conduct.

    Meghwal is believed to be a close aide to the deputy CM Sachin Pilot.

    The video went viral on social media and Minister Bhanwarlal Meghwal can be heard shouting and threatening lady constable.
