The Rajasthan Revenue board sets record by closing 10,997 cases in just one year. The number of cases disposed of in last year is more than the number of cases filed in the last two years. Hence the board sets a record in the closing number of cases in a year through the digital system.

Another feather in the cap of the CM Vasundhara Raje government is the total digitalization of revenue board. Significantly the Rajasthan revenue board is the only complete digital revenue system in the country. The cases and decisions of the board are now on the website.

In a bid to resolve the cases, revenue department officials hold courts at least 21 days in a month. After the digitalization documents are easily available to the lawyers. Hence the board is now able to quickly dispose of the cases.

Board to work on the Backlogs too

The chairman of the revenue board B Srinivas said that for the first time the board is not only solving the current cases but is also clearing some backlogs. The chairman himself had attended courts for 220 days disposing of 574 cases. He added that the board will clear remaining backlogs in a time-bound manner.

Srinivas said that 8,562 cases filed in 2016 but against this, board solved 8,689 cases including backlogs. While 7,867 cases filled and against this, 9,556 cases are disposed of. The board has directed the district authorities to close online cases files to avoid pendency at the lower level.

The government of Rajasthan is working vigorously for the welfare of the people of the state. As a revolutionary step, the government has digitalized all the public departments for the convenience of the people. Digitalization by the BJP government has made everything accessible for Rajasthan.
