The BJP announced its first list of candidates for the Rajasthan assembly elections late on Sunday. The list carries the name of 131 candidates out of 200 seats. BJP’s first list of candidates has ruffled Congress feathers as the list carries strong faces.

The tension can be seen as the Rajasthan Congress is on run to organize press conferences and churn over candidate names. The Congress was waiting for the BJP’s list so that they can decide the name accordingly, uneasy conditions in the house, right?

Though, the Congress has been claiming the victory looking back at the history and poll predictions. They have nothing to speak about their own work in former government that slamming BJP’s tenure.

Know how Congress is in stress?

The BJP insists that it will be able to repulse the opposition’s challenge. Because some major development works have been done under the Vasundhara Raje government. The public has directly benefitted with the CM Raje’s schemes.

Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje will contest from Jhalrapatan, a seat she has represented since 2003. However, a number of sitting legislators have been dropped or shifted.

The BJP under Ms. Raje won a whopping 163 of the 200 assembly seats in the state in 2013, giving the Congress its worst ever drubbing at its hands. The ruling party has come up with a stronger candidate list this time, which ensures another thumping victory in the state.

After the release of the first list by BJP, Some Congress leaders have left the “Hand” to join the saffron party. This caused even more stress for Congress leadership.

For instance, Kailash Meghwal, the speaker in the outgoing Rajasthan assembly has been shifted from Shahpura in Bhilwara district to Pilani in Jhunjhunu district. Hence the first list carries strong faces, which has caused a rise in the stress level in Cong house. The Congress is facing a strong challenge from the Bharatiya Janta party’s candidate list.
