A meeting of the State Core Committee headed by Raje was held on Sunday at the BJP state headquarters. Union minister and state election management committee convener Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, former state president Ashok Parnami, state president Madan Lal Saini, state organisation general secretary Chandrashekhar, social justice and empowerment minister Arun Chaturvedi and other senior leaders were also present.

After the meeting, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said that ‘the Independent candidates are in contact with our senior leaders. We are continuously communicating with them. In the present situation, we will not need anyone to form a government as we are in a position to form a government on our own.’

‘We all have analyzed the election together. We will form the government with absolute majority in the state. Today we have done detailed planning for December 11. We decided that a senior party worker will remain in a district during counting and will be monitoring the counting of votes.’ Shekhawat said.

The committee reviewed the voting of each Assembly constituency for about two-and-a-half hour. Raje told party leaders that during the counting, all workers should remain careful and vigilant.
