Know the details of Bhamashah Techno Hub

It is a part of Rajasthan government’s flagship start-up program iStart. It is a government-led initiative with the capacity to accommodate 700 startups. Spread in the area of more than 1 Lakh square feet, this hub will provide infrastructure, advisory support, technological facilities, funding, mentorship and exposure under one roof.

Unique features of Bhamashah Techno Hub

In the techno hub, a wide range of facilities including high-speed internet, world-class workspace, video conference rooms, individual and shared offices, and other infrastructure will be available. Here, the full time on-site mentoring will be provided by the Government of Rajasthan for overall growth and promotion of the startup.

The Techno Hub will provide all facilities to startups free of cost. It will have a Tinkering Labs to nurture curiosity, creativity and imagination among emerging entrepreneurs. Various skills like adaptive learning, computational thinking and physical computing can be learnt will the help of labs.

To strengthen the startup ecosystem, the state government has also announced a 500-Crore fund. Here, Rs 100 crore has been set aside for women-led startups while Rs 50 crore will used for green startups.

iStart program

Under iStart, around 70 startups in Jaipur, Udaipur, and Kota are being incubated currently. This program works on the assess-improve-access model. To get ideas for business expansion, iStart also tied up with startups, investment conferences and summits across the country. For funding of startups, Rajasthan has partnered with VCs, angel investors, HNIs, and other financial institutions. In fact, more than 750 startups have signed up for iStart.
