The President of Bharatiya Janta Party, Amit Shah has kick-started the election campaign today in poll-bound Rajasthan. Amit Shah interacted with youth during an event ‘Yuva ki baat, Amit Shah ke saath’ in the state capital. Shah answered various questions on national, international, and political issues during the two-hour event. Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje welcomed Shah on arrival at the airport and at the event as well.

The BJP chief slammed the Congress for the 50- years of misrule in the country. Shah said, ‘After Independence, Congress ruled the country for 50 years. They ruled the entire country from Gram Panchayat to parliament. They have given 3 blisters to the democracy which are- Casteism, Familism, and Appeasement. The 3 blisters were demolishing the democracy, he added.

During the event CM Raje also took a dig at the Congress, saying, ‘Why would people choose them, who do not attend the assembly?’

The BJP chief also praised the work done by CM Raje in the state. ‘Raje government worked to reach out each person in the state. Bhamashah Swasthya Beema scheme benefitted more than 24 Lakh and Ujjwala Yojana has reached 32 Lakh people in Rajasthan.’

Shah hit hard on the previous Congress government for failing to counter the intrusion. He said that in the Congress government, intruders dared to violate the borders because they (Congress) used to see vote banks in them. ‘But we (BJP) bought the NRC and marked 40 lakh intruders in the country.’ Shah added.

Amit Shah answered all the questions by the young audience and urged them to win the 2018 election against casteism, familism, and appeasement.
